FAQ

Q. "What is the difference between the Express Pedicure and the Signature Pedicure?"

A. Our Express Pedicure is more of a "routine maintenance" pedicure, it is 45 minutes long and recommended for guests who receive pedicures frequently. Our Signature Pedicure is more pampering. It is 60 minutes long and the technicians will spend more time on your problem areas. This service is recommended for clients who don't receive pedicures as often.

Q. "Why can't I get a pre-natal massage before my second trimester?"

A. For the health and safety of you and your little one, as well as insurance and liability purposes, we are not able to do a pre-natal massage before the second trimester. Pre-natal massage is the only type of massage our technicians are able to perform if you are pregnant. Please check with your doctor before booking your massage.

Q. "How does tipping work?"

A. Gratuity is not included in our pricing. If you would like to leave a tip for your service provider they are always appreciated! You can tip with cash, check, credit card or a Harbour Salon & Spa gift card.

Q. "What is the difference between a single process color and a double process color?"

A.  Single Process Color is a color service that is done in one step. For example a root touch up to cover greys, or all over color from roots to ends. A Double Process Color is a two step service.  Typically recommended for clients who are looking for root color and partial highlights.

Q. "I just need a trim, is that the same price as a haircut?"

A.  Yes. The stylist uses the same sectioning and techniques, the only difference is the amount of hair that is taken off.

Q. "Can new hair clients book online?"

A. We HIGHLY recommend that new clients call to book their first appointment. This way we will be able to do a quick consultation and book you for the appropriate service and the appropriate amount of time. If you are needing a color correction, or looking for "vivid colors", we do require an in-person consult with the stylist ahead of time.

Q. "When I submit an online request is my appointment confirmed?"

A. No, your appointment is not officially booked until you received a confirmation email or phone call from us. Outside of our operating hours please allow up to 48 hours to receive your confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation within 48 hours please call us.
